Turbine Oil

Turbine oil is a special kind of lubricant purposely made to be applied in turbine systems with applications in gas, steam, and hydro turbines. Most importantly, this type of lubricant is meant to reduce wear and friction on the part of the turbine component. In doing so, it proves vital for cooling in the essential parts of the turbine as well. Therefore, the process of formulating it includes additives whose primary purpose is to improve oxidation stability, as well as giving it the ability to be foaming-free and resistant to rusting, sludging, and corrosion.
